I heard what he said and had a different interpretation. I thought he was talking in generalities at one point and was also trying to cover for her. Regardless the defamation is still the issue.

I think they both need help and wish Depp and his wife would stop throwing stones and see a marriage counselor for the sake of their children if they have any as well as themselves.
