Tam Tak-chi was the first person charged with sedition since 1997 under colonial-era law amid a wider crackdown by authorities

since 1997, under a colonial-era law that authorities in the territory have used with increasing frequency since the crackdown began on pro-democracy protesters and supporters. The news obviously shows Hong Kong puppet government is undermining our freedom using draconian National Security Law. That’s why in addition to BNO visa, UK please take prompt actions to hold the perpetrators accountable for it. StandWithHongKong

It is Speech Crime! The judgement is more like a political statement than legal analysis! HongKong judges are active collaborators of CCP. Those foreign judges who still say HongKong has rule of law are accomplices too !

When the Brits were in HK, that law was almost never used. Not on someone like him for sure.

They censor your very words, then send you to jail. That's the evil CCP + HK regime, wake up ppl!

Given Hong Kong’s court is now fully controlled by the regime, just expect more sedition cases to threaten Hong Kong people. Can any of the remaining overseas judges examine these cases? Sadly no as they’re not designated judges like Judge Chan.
