Curaleaf could begin selling adult use cannabis as soon as April 21, the company says.

New Jersey’s largest legal cannabis grower says it has received final approvals from the state and could begin selling adult recreational cannabis as early as next Thursday.

“We are thrilled to have received our final licensing approvals and look forward to opening our doors to the adult use market in New Jersey soon,” Curaleaf spokesperson Morgan Hurley said in an email to NJ Advance Media on Thursday afternoon. Hurley said the company was pushing for an April 21 start date but that was still being worked out, along with other opening day details. The company has an internal meeting scheduled later Thursday afternoon to finalize the opening date.

“The transition to adult-use will not alter our commitment to our medical patients, who have been the heart of our program for the past six years. We look forward to serving this growing market with best in class products and service,” said Hurley.Want to keep up with the latest in legal weed news? Add your email here:
