A teenage girl raped by four men in a Gold Coast motel room had “a swastika made of penises” and a number representing “Heil Hitler” drawn on her stomach with a permanent marker.The rape occurred in a motel room in Runaway Bay - a northern suburb on the Gold Coast. James Gareth Doran, 23, Leon James Sealey, 31, Steven Zevenbergen, 37, and Joshua Bruce Butler, 41, were each found guilty of five counts of rape at trial.
The three men and teenager took drugs – ice and fantasy – and got into the spa. While in the spa, Zevenbergen touched the victim on her vagina, to which she told him to “f--- off”. “Mr Doran also filmed her while she was asleep. Mr Butler used a Sharpie pen to write on her leg in the nature of a tattoo: ‘What goes around, comes around’,” Loury said when sentencing them.“Mr Zevenbergen, and perhaps others of you, used a Sharpie pen to draw a swastika made of penises and the numbers 88 – representing Heil Hitler on her stomach – while she was asleep.”“When the complainant awoke, all four of you were still in the room,” Loury said.
