Ms Martin responded: “That’s possibly the case in a documented sense … but I don’t think that rules out that there were discussions about risk aspects that were assessed at the time.” It builds on evidence that Star continued its relationship with junket operator Suncity despite telling the market it was ending it and having concerns about money laundering within its VIP room.
