A South Australian man will front court today charged with manslaughter over an alleged roadside fight on a busy Adelaide City street.

A charge against his alleged attacker has been upgraded to manslaughterPolice will allege the occupants of a Honda sedan and taxi were involved in a fight on West Terrace in the city on the evening of April 1.

A 70-year-old man from Cheltenham was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious head injuries.A 30-year-old man from Mansfield Park was initially charged over the assault and bailed to appear in court at a later date but that charge was last night updated to manslaughter.Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage which is yet to be provided to investigating officers to contact Crime Stoppers.
