The Federal Capital Territory Command of the Nigeria Police Force has said it would charge Peter Nwachukwu, the husband to popular gospel singer, Osinachi to court for culpable homicide over the death of his wife.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, said Nwachukwu would be charged to court as soon as the investigation into the matter was concluded. It said the police already had a voice recording where the late singer narrated her ordeal while on admission at the hospital. In the said voice recording, she was said to have narrated how her husband must be held responsible if anything happened to her.

The woman just allowed herself to ridiculed and killed. How can you stay in a marriage where your husband will tie you up and asked your children to flog you? It is because he wanted you to leave his house and you refused, for the sake of answering a married woman.
The lovely lady (bless her soul) has to take responsibility for this calamity. When you allow yourself to be brainwashed by religion then you are self-sabotaging. How can another human being do all these to you yet you remain? & 'God' you worship soo much couldn't even intervene

Homicide case takes time and required detail forensic examination both on the dead person and the suspect before he can be charge otherwise he will see him walking away or getting a bai from court. Police should not be in hurry to charge him. Our Police should learn from NYPD

I want to ask a question, why is it when the woman is dead that the police are getting involved? So because people are demanding his arrest,that's why ther are taking action? When she was alive ,why didn't sge report? All these people that are carry the matter on their heads
It's inhumanity for a man to kill his wife in such a manner no matter what the misunderstanding might be.
Why are the police charging him? They should treat us as family matter like they handle other DV cases!
Couples should learn from this and desist from things that could cause problems at home. Men should be more responsible, women should be more careful and avoid doing or saying things that could cause problems.
