Mayor Eric Adams said Monday that the billboards supporting LGBTQ visibility will be displayed in five major markets in Florida, including Jacksonville.

The announcement came one week after Governor Ron DeSantis signed the Parental Rights in Education Act into law. It forbids instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade. Adams called the Florida law “a targeted attack on the LGBTQ+ population.”

A statement from Governor Ron DeSantis said in part: “If anyone is so upset about our governor defending parental rights that they want to leave Florida for a crime-ridden socialist dystopia, our state will be better off without them.”

If anybody cares what New York thinks, maybe they should move to New York? 🤔

I hope for your sake that it is not your parent company that owns the billboards.

Has anyone read the bill? lol. explain why the push to teach k-3rd graders sexuality is a good thing? Nor does this have ANYHTING to do with anyone's life choices unless you get a sick kick out of this. Tell me how this bill affects you? but please 'read it' first.

Ahh yes. Come to nyc and get taxed into the dirt, accosted by homeless and be required to wear a mask outside while jogging for what now?
