A Magistrate Court in Port Harcourt has remanded one Victor Elem at the Nigerian Correctional Center in Port Harcourt on a charge bothering on defilement.

In a charge sheet, the 60 years old man is accused of defiling a 12 years old physically challenged girl inside her parent’s apartment in Ubima Community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state.

When the matter was mentioned in court, the Chief Magistrate, Kobani-Buzugbe declined jurisdiction to hear the case and directed that the case file be sent to the Department of Public Prosecution for advice.Related Topics:
