."It'll be a respectful, deep dive into her record which I think is entirely appropriate for a lifetime appointment."
U.S. Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell said Sunday he is undecided on the Supreme Court nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson.Hawley last week claimed that Jackson has been soft on"child porn offenders" as both a judge and policymaker. "Judge Jackson has a pattern of letting child porn offenders off the hook for their appalling crimes, both as a judge and as a policymaker," Hawleyon Wednesday."She's been advocating for it since law school. This goes beyond 'soft on crime.' I'm concerned that this a record that endangers our children."
Hawley's claims have been debunked by some analysts and fact-checkers, but the accusations will likely resurface for Jackson, who looks to become the first Black woman to serve on the highest court in the land.
What did he find out?
I’m quite bored with McConnell's wishy-washy, rapid-cycling-bipolar, paid-for opinions and rhetoric.
What instructions has he received from his overlords: Putin and Trump?
ENOUGH OF MITCH MCCONNELL STYLE POLITICS! Mitch and Republicans have been steadily on the self serving for the wealthy road. Mitch will cut out social security, will raise taxes on the middle class, will unplug healthcare. Everything that will benefit him and his wealthy donors
Only took SenateGOP & LeaderMcConnell 30 days to jam thru Amy Coney Barrett. We are already on day 23 for Ketanji Brown Jackson. The disgustingly infantil, obstructionist, hypocritical agenda is going to be on full display.
Ok Mitch. So tell us your thoughts on Matt Gaetz?
Dear Republicans, FYI: Supreme Court Justices uphold justice. They are NOT 'prosecutors'. You need to learn this!
