Former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, who is a national leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, has told the 11 gubernatorial aspirants in the party from the Kwara North Senatorial zone to meet and agree on a consensus candidate among themselves.
The PDP had zoned the governorship slot to the North Senatorial zone of the state in the 2023 elections. Others were: Hon. Bawa Adamu, Hon. Sidiq Abubakar, Hon. Abubakar Shamaki, Mr. Ayodele Joel and Hon.Kawu Adam.
