Another court appeal as Vodacom digs in its heels in 'Please Call Me' fight

​In yet another twist, Vodacom has appealed a latest court judgment as it seeks to overturn a high court ruling that favoured"Please Call Me " inventor Nkosana Makate.erred when in her February judgement gave the telecommunications giantVodacom wants the matter to be heard in April by either a full bench of judges at the Pretoria high court or the Supreme Court of Appeal.

Vodacom... Just pay this man. 20% in bonds 20% in conv. pref. shares 20% in ordinary shares 40% in cash Do the right thing.

Why should Makate not be compensated for the value of his profit input into Vodcom's revenue over the years of his invention? This must not be construed to racialism because it seems like Makate does not qualify for the expected hefty compensation because of his skin colour!
