The Taraba State Government is proceeding with the case between it and 18 aggrieved staff of the defunct Taraba Publishing Company Ltd, after initially

DAILY POST recalls that 18 staff of the company who are non-indigenes of the state, sued the Taraba State government for the non-payment of their salaries since 2014, which currently amounts to over N80 million and discrimination against them on the basis of their states of origin.

Recall that the case first came up for mentioning in October 2021 at the National Industrial Court Jos before Justice P.

But a representative from the Taraba State Ministry of Justice told the Judge that an out-of-court settlement was being contemplated.
