The trial of the truck driver, Yandisa Majikija, who allegedly crashed into a Hilton father and daughter on the N3 last year has been postponed to June. | WitnessKZN

He is facing two culpable homicide charges after he allegedly crashed into Tony Richter’s bakkie, who was with his daughter, Alice, on the N3 Southbound, near Midmar.

The 59-year-old, who was a director of school operations at Hilton College, had stopped to help Alice, whose car had broken down.Popular Hilton College staff member, Tony Richter, and daughter killed in tragic accidentThey were standing between the two vehicles when the truck hit the bakkie propelling it forward into the pair.She was rushed to Life Hilton Hospital by paramedics and later underwent surgery, but succumbed to her injuries on the following day.
