There are indications that the Federal Government has not accepted the stance of the National Assembly on the recent rejection of the request of President

According to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, the government will explore all options to find a way around it, including going to court or accepting the law as it is.

His reactions came shortly after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Wednesday. He noted that the government has three options available, part of which is to ask the legislators to reconsider their stance, including approaching the court or accepting the law as it is.

Malami also noted that while it is the responsibility of the lawmakers to legislate, if it becomes necessary, the Federal Government will exploit all options available to it.Also commenting on the extradition request by the United States government on DCP Abba Kyari, Malami, insisted that the issue has generated needless controversies, affirming that the request is still being processed.

He accused the media of raising undue misunderstanding around the issue, urging them to get a grip of the facts to avoid creating confusion.

One of the most useless AGF we've ever had

Well the NASS have already made themselves puppets and doesnt have any respect. They should atleast remove small shame from themselves by stopping AGF plans

Because they know that the judicial system in Nigeria is under their supervision

Which court inside Naija ?

This Malami or Ma'am ehnn

He looks very high

So Malami wants to continue enjoying his seat as a Minister until he get his ticket to contest for Governor of Kebbi State. He is scared of loosing both opportunities.

The identities of the masquerades behind the unsavoury 'amendment' is gradually unveiling. Is Buhari really in charge of anything?😎

Malami wants to contest in 2023 but doesn’t want to resign before then “

Madman malami
