LearnedCitizen But. . . the Senate . . .

Huh?

Senate leader McConnell is urging bipartisanship, please hold him to it.

It's not like it's going to get signed into law. This is just a political stunt. Don't waste our time with this garbage. Just get to the investigations.

steve_amp We’ll have to have parallel bills in the states due to Republican obstruction in the Senate

Gerrymandering and voter suppression is a serious issue.

Yaaaaaaaaaaasssssssss

I love it. Best thing Dems can do is wrap themselves around the flag. Not running on healthcare in 2020. We are running on the very idea of America.

C

Yes, please, now more than ever!!

The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it. - Edward Dowling, editor (and priest), Chicago Daily News, 28 July 1941

TheDemocrats should pass a major bill per week as long as Congress is in session. Then when the GOP either votes no or Trump vetoes, they can say the GOP is a do-nothing party.

Yes !

It’s time for new blood. Time for a new speaker of the house, not Nancy Pelosi. We need younger new people with new ideas! Nancy did a great job, but we need someone new to move forward!

TeamPelosi Well, they would, since we are a Constitutional Republic and not a democracy. Anything to destroy the Constitution, right Democrats?

Its a trick. If there was going to be positive change to unify both parties in cooperating on legislation,Hillary, nancy, and the rest of the misfits who spoke out against the president holding our nation for ransom would be removed from the picture. This inciting disharmony sucks.

Excellent first move. This should be popular across the board. The right wing will fight but the Dems will show who and what they care about which will resonate in 2020

When have the dems ever been interested in the following listed above? Not ever! They are stealing from the Green Party platform and trying to make it their own. With out US and our policies, platform, you have nothing, and had nothing.

Yes. Show us what you want to do and we will fightbeven harder in 2020 to give you the chance to do it.

Yeah like getting rid of the Electoral College too That thing is shit

Good. We need to get ready for 2020. Take it all back fair and square. Stop GOP for our kids...no chance to cheat back in.

Why haven’t they done this before ?

TeamPelosi Lord knows that we need it to prevent the GOP and realDonaldTrump from destroying the entire system...

I think that is beneficial to every American who really wants to vote and be counted

Voted in by a mere 20% of Americans, they do not speak for all. BiParty politics needs to end.

Impeachment will not strengthen us! It may destroy us! The hate monster that the Dems. unleashed on the U.S. may on be able to be put back in the Box. The Monster of Hatred generally eats it owner. You have created many Victims, many Haters, they will not rest until they have ?

as with all bills, the titles sound great, but the devil is in the details. HOW they want to accomplish these goals is the crucial part.

Like the fake ballots?

Are we changing our form of government? I thought we were a constitutional Republic?

NPR = Democrat National Public Relations

Start by reducing government, repeal the Patriot Act, fix mass incarceration, put in term limits to eliminate millionaire politicians, and correct the immigration system problems.

resist

Why not vote on every aspect separately? How many pork barrel projects will be tossed in? Has the media asked these questions?

What the hell does that mean?

Democracy is more important than any Partisan Agenda. Voting is a right and it should be as easy as possible to exercise that right. I don't care who proposes strengthening our Institutions, I just care that they are strengthened.

Good. Pass bills in the House that are popular with the working class and even if the Senate votes no, Democrats have shown where they stand. In 2020 we can sweep the Republican party of 'no' out.

They all ran on healthcare. What happened to that? Forget already. Crickets in here are loud.

Each provision should be its own bill. I'm not a fan of anyone putting things like abortion regulations into the budget proposals.

I read this knowing the Dems still don't really hear us. Yes, we need voter protections, campaign finance reform, ethics, but we need HIGHER WAGES, MEDICARE FOR ALL, FULL EMPLOYMENT, LOWER COSTS OF GOODS, IMPROVED INFRASTRUCTURE. DO THAT...FIGHT FOR ALL OF THAT FIGHT FOR US.

Translation... more voter fraud, more corruption. Democrats wouldn't have it any other way. This is what a tyrannical government looks like. We have Rights to fight this.

They should focus on something that has a chance to pass the Senate. Something modest.

They want to protect the press, but want to silence Assange. Strange how that double standard works. I’d also be curious to hear them speak out about the cull of conservative citizen journalist on Twitter & Facebook. I’m guessing not all of the press is going to be equal.

I am looking forward to such

Thank God. Back to reality.

Traditions? Really?

The Democrat party will not be a political party for much longer. But, by all means, keep on lying to yourselves. It's remarkably pathetic, but rather enjoyable...👌
