Mr Lavrov used his speech to blame Ukraine for the war and claimed the country is attempting to acquire nuclear weapons.

This is unprofessional as a diplomat, at least should hear the story for both sides. When people stops talking to each other - that when war starts.
As a diplomat, your job is to express and listen opinions whatever you think it's right or wrong. If you don't listen, how do you suppose to provide suggestions to your government? If you think you are right, fight back. If you can shut up and listen. Waste money.
