An injunction to end the blockade at the Ambassador Bridge has been granted. It will come into effect at 7 p.m. Friday.

CBC NewsChief Justice Geoffrey B. Morawetz made the ruling in a court proceeding Friday. It will come into effect at 7 p.m.

Specifics of the injunction are being worked out, with a draft to be presented to the court when the proceedings resume at 5:15 p.m. Friday.

Finally. They absolutely have the freedom of peaceful assembly and association. But it needs to be lawful. That is the limitation. When the law is disregarded, action must be taken or else we have anarchy. This should have been done days ago.
