"I think that this is very important for President Biden nominate a Black woman, not only to fill his promise that he made during the campaign but for America to fulfill its promise that it made to its ideals that we all are created equally," Crump tells Forbes in an phone interview.
"We are on the cusp of a historic announcement," says Crump, a Tallahassee, Fla.-based attorney who has represented the families Trayvon Martin, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd.at the end of the high court's term this summer. Biden said during the 2020 Democratic primaries that he would nominate a Black woman to the post if elected president, a commitment the White House affirmed this week.
Biden this Thursday he would announce his nominee by the end of February, a step that would then kick off a U.S. Senate confirmation process.
Nope, totally disagree. Targeting a person from a specific color is racist. What don't you people get about this. If the best candidate is a black woman, then pick her. But limiting your options to a specific race and gender (or is it biological sex) is wrong.
Crump is a fantastic Lawyer.
I guess Asian women aren’t created equal? When you place job requirements by race and gender you are actually saying people aren’t created equal!
Of course we are, education, experience and skills should never be factor for any promotion. Color, creed and religious beliefs should be the sole criteria. What a wonderful world it would be.
Restricting the selection to a black female, roughly 6% of the available adult population, in lieu of selecting the best candidate from 100% of the population? With how this was handled by Biden she’ll always be viewed as a token appointee. 🤦♂️
Why do you suppose he is so prejudiced against whites and Asians? Is he in love with his Vice-President?
How about we just nominate the person who is best for the job regardless of race, color, or creed. If it’s a black woman that’s great, but that should not be the reason that you get selected for anything.
I vote for D.C. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan
Well Obama could not do anything for the African American citizens, let us hope and pray Biden Selection will also not be useless.
Shouldn’t merit be the first criteria? If a black woman is the most deserving, by all means, but what if a Latino male is more qualified?

I wont be surprised if senator Sinema Encourage diversity for $cotus by having in mind that there are Asian American and Americans Hispanic or native American for the justice
Translation- in an effort to virtue signal, we must engage in racism and sexism by discriminating against all other candidates to find the one that appears in the flesh the way we say is okay. Shut up, don't ask any questions
