US President Joe Biden has confirmed that he will appoint a black woman as America’s next Supreme Court justice in a historic first.
The president says he will study and evaluate the choices over the next few weeks and will announce a final decision for a nominee by February.The incoming justice will replace 83 year old Stephen Breyer who is expected to retire at the end of the current Supreme Court term in June after serving nearly three decades on the bench.
