Neil Young has demanded Spotify pull his music over Covid-19 vaccine misinformation pushed by Joe Rogan’s podcast on the platform, according to an open letter Young sent to his management and record label, making him the latest figure to take aim at the wildly popular podcaster for promoting baseless pandemic conspiracies and touting bogus cures on his show.

Spotify is “spreading fake information about vaccines - potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation,” Young said in the now-deletedThe musician said Rogan’s show—which is hosted exclusively on Spotify and has an estimated 11 million listeners per episode—”is the world's largest podcast and has tremendous influence," adding the platform has a responsibility to “mitigate the spread of misinformation.
