A civil rights group, Nigeria First, has said that it will join protests across the country against plans by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to increase the pump price of petrol and inflict more hardship on citizens.
"The idea is not only very untimely but inimical to the growth and development of any decent society at this point." Recall that the Nigerian Government had announced that fuel subsidy will be removed in February, causing fear of a rise in the pump price of petrol. Also rejecting the plan by government, President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba, in a New Year message to workers, called on citizens to prepare for war against the fuel price hike.
We forget so easily…this is the same president that said we were paying too much buying fuel for N87 under Goodluck. If you want to see hypocrites, come to Nigerian government!
The rising price of fuel is due to subsidy removal as directed by IMF ,these are the economic suppressive policies giving out by IMF after issuing out loans to us,they claim is to ensure we are able to pay the loans but in reality ,they are trying to suppress our economy
They will see protest that would knock them out. This one will come front and back side to side and killers would be confused.
Planned protest. Let it be clear, there will be 2 groups of protesters. For and Against.
This is the new year giveaway from the presidency. Omo this CHANGE don tire person
