Sadtu goes to court over termination of rural incentive for teachers

The SA Democratic Teachers’ Union in Limpopo has taken the provincial department of education to court after it terminated the rural allowance incentive.

Wrong direction, they must go to ConCourt to demand release of reserved judgment on salary increment, it's long overdue

Rural What? this means there are educators being owed this allowance 🤞

It can only make sense if there's no one willing to go work in that area. It must be used as incentive. But we have pool of teachers willing to work in rural areas.
