Guevarra said he expected information on the quarantine skipping schemes after 'Poblacion Girl' submitted her counter-affidavit and when the prosecutor conducted a clarificatory hearing.

The case of Gwyneth Chua and how she skipped mandatory facility quarantine may provide government agents with leads on how those with connections may evade COVID-19 protocols for arriving travelers, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said on Friday.

In an episode of "The Mangahas Interviews", Guevarra said he was expecting the National Bureau of Investigation to submit its report on the Chua case "within 30 days." Guevarra said he expected information on the schemes when Chua would submit her counter-affidavit and when the prosecutor would conduct a clarificatory hearing.

"Magpo-provide yun ng lead kung sino ang mga pwedeng balikan ng ating mga law enforcement agents o ng ating mga investigators," Guevarra said. "Maari ding lumitaw 'yan pag submit sa akin ng report ng NBI kasi mahusay naman ang NBI diyan," he added.

Scheme or not is one thing, but bragging, clubbing and mingling with people when she should have quarantined is irresponsible and that’s equally what these cases should be about. And people did get infected, so that shouldn’t be ignored.
