This attack happened in the area of the Civic Offices on Ballyfermot Road, at around 9.30pm last Thursday.Both men are aged in their late teens and are being held at Garda stations in west Dublin.
They have been charged and both are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am on Friday morning.
