Manhattan DA Ends Andrew Cuomo Nursing-Home Probe

The Manhattan district attorney’s office has closed its investigation into how the administration of former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo handled Covid-19 in nursing homes, a lawyer who represented the administration said Monday.

Defense attorney Elkan Abramowitz, who served as outside counsel for Mr. Cuomo’s executive chamber, said he was contacted Monday by the head of the Manhattan district attorney’s elder-care unit. “I was told that after a thorough investigation—as we have said all along—there was no evidence to suggest that any laws were broken,” Mr. Abramowitz said in a statement.

Hope the families of these seniors he killed go after him.

As usual for democrat politicians, break the law at will without consequences, murder thousands it’s ok there will never be an actual arrest

Maybe no 'laws' were broken, but he willingly and knowingly sent the disease into nursing homes where the elderly couldn't fight the virus. He is a murderer.

The 242-page report by the NYSBA’s Task Force on Nursing Homes and Long-Term Care also blasts Cuomo for not reversing the Department of Health’s “unreasonable” mandate sooner than he did, saying it remained in effect weeks longer than necessary.

Somebody should investigate the Medical Indemnity Fund. Is the money really going to the children who have sustained injuries? It's not clear at all.

Nursing homes are bad enough. Now, as of today, they are much worse. Cuomo made an awful decision and of course he gets away with what he did. The way our seniors are treated is a filthy disgrace! And Aetna MLTC should be ashamed of themselves as well!!!!!!

Great news! Very important: No rules were broken. Gov Cuomo administration did everything possible to help New York during the hardest and darkest times of this pandemic. He fought for NY.He stood and stands by New York.He addressed the state everyday with updates and guidance.
