The Centre for Leadership and Creative Entrepreneurs in Africa and Initiatives for Urban Regeneration have called for a joint intervention of the Lagos State and Federal governments to address the lingering legal feud between the Federal Housing Authority and the Amuwo Odofin Royal Family, saying it has hampered development in the area.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the President/Founder, Center for Leadership and Creative Entrepreneurs in Africa, Amb. Kingsley Nwanze and Executive Director, Initiatives for Urban Regeneration, Comrade Babatunde Olagunju, while commending Ashafa for his strategies geared towards maintaining the peace of Festac Town in Amuwo-Odofin area.
The groups tasked the concerned strata of government on the need for prompt intervention in the lingering legal tussle between FHA and Amuwo Odofin royal family. “The existing legal issue between the Amuwo Odofin Royal Family and Federal Housing Authority is impeding commencement of works at the site.
