Ghislaine Maxwell has been convicted of luring and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein

.Unlike Maxwell and Epstein, the Duke of York is not facing any criminal charges and the conviction of Ghislaine is of her involvement only. However, Prince Andrew is facing a civil court case related to the conviction, along with the unforgiving court of public opinion.

One of Jeffery Epstein’s alleged victims Virginia Giuffre, who appeared with Maxwell and Prince Andrew in a now infamous photograph, is suing the Queen’s son for unspecified damages for allegedly sexually assaulting her on three separate occasions. During a 2019 Newsnight interview, Andrew said Maxwell was a long-standing friend, and it was through her he first met Epstein in 1999.

Andrew and Ghislane’s close friendship, coupled with Virginia's claim that Maxwell "spent years overseeing and managing Epstein's sex trafficking network, and actively recruited underage girls", will make it hard untie the senior royal from the claims.
