Foul play is not behind the unrelated deaths of two men, both of whom were found in Santa Cruz County creeks last week, law enforcement officials say.

The body of a 24-year-old Scotts Valley man, identified by the Santa Cruz County Coroner’s Office as Zhigang Han, was discovered Dec. 22 partially submerged in Carbonera Creek off El Pueblo Road in Scotts Valley.

The next day, Dec. 23, rescue swimmers recovered the body of Adrik Tibbs, a 29-year-old homeless man, according to the Coroner’s Office, from Soquel Creek in Capitola Village.
