Making this description on a current affairs radio programme monitored in Osogbo on Monday, Abioye maintained that there was no provision in the party constitution to back their ratification.
The Osun PDP legal adviser maintained that it was the state executive committee that had the vested and constitutional power to appoint the chairman of the party or any other officer in the case of a vacancy and not any other stakeholder. He also revealed that Sunday Bisi being Chairman of Osun PDP still remained in office since he was appointed by the state executive committee which is duly recognised by the national executive committee of the party.
Disagreeing with Abioye, Ade Adewopo another chieftain of Osun PDP stated that the adoption was in order because the members were only applying the court order directing such.
