1. A former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has said his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, was arrested on the orders of the Inspector General of Police . He, however, said the IGP was deceived by his successor, Hope Uzodimma. Nwosu was arrested during a church service at St Peter’s Anglican church, Eziama Obieri in Nkwerre Local Government Area of the state.

3. Fire, on Sunday, razed Next Cash and Carry Supermarket located in the Jahi area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. In a video making the rounds, some residents were sighted looting electronics and other items from the ill-fated supermarket despite the raging inferno. 5. President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with President Cyril Ramaphosa, South Africans and the global Christian body, particularly Anglican Communion, over the passing of Archbishop Emeritus, Desmond Tutu at 90. The president’s condolence message was issued by his Spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, on Sunday in Abuja.

7. Gunmen have abducted Charles Mato Dakat, the paramount ruler of Gindiri town in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. It was gathered that the traditional ruler was abducted after sporadic gunshots at his residence in the early hours of Sunday.
