Even if the AT&T workers were orally promised benefits to induce retirement that were contradicted under the plan, I doubt they could state a claim for fraudulent inducement since there is probably a mandatory arbitration clause for disputes arising from the agreement. Ugh.
Both my husband and I are retired from AT&T. Husband retired this month to avoid losing his retiree health benefits. Now on top of losing hundreds of thousands in life insurance coverage, it sounds like the insurance benefit isn’t safe either.

i have a better policy at spectrum and im entry level. fam gets 3x my annual pay if i die. i make 40k right now, and i get 25k if any of my children die, for only 1$ a paycheck. i have accidental and life insurance on myself FREE. :)
