Int'l Human Rights Day sinabayan ng kilos-protesta vs anti-terror law

Watch more on iWantTFC MAYNILA — Daan-daan ang nagkilos-protesta sa University of the Philippines Diliman at sa harap ng Quezon City Hall sa paggunita sa International Human Rights Day. Special mention sa stage ng mga raliyista ang hindi pinangalanang traffic enforcer ng Quezon City.

"Mayroon po tayong isang traffic enforcer na nanggagalaiti diyan… Nais po naming ipaalam sa inyo na kaya kayo may trabaho ay dahil sa mga nakipaglaban para sa ating mga karapatan," hirit ni Aaron Pedroso ng SANLAKAS.Humingi rin ng paumanhin ang mga organizer ng rally sa mga naipit sa traffic.Nanawagan silang ibasura ang anti-terror law at bigyang hustisya ang mga napatay sa war on drugs ng pamahalaan.

"Galit po kami sa naging desisyon ng Korte Suprema dahil halos buong batas ay idineklara nitong konstitusyunal gayung napakaraming mapanupil na nilalaman 'yung anti-terror law," ani Cristina Palabay ng Karapatan.Dinukot ng mga armadong lalaki ang kanyang mister noong November 6 sa Pampanga. Tinawagan pa umano siya at 'vinideo call' ng mga dumukot kay Abua.

"Tulungan ko daw sila na kumbinsihin si Steve na sumuko na bilang NPA... Nakita ko do'n 'yung asawa ko na nakagapos, nakabusal 'yung bibig, nakapiring 'yung mata," sabi ni Johanna Abua. Sa kabilang banda, iginiit ng Palasyo na isinusulong rin naman ng gobyerno ang mga karapatang pantao ng mga Pilipino.
