Now that children younger than 12 are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, some say we could see an increase in Family Court matters. But the courts have already put measures in place to prioritise such disputes, should they arise.

But Lucy remains fearful that her ex-partner will turn to the courts this time around.

Like all Family Court matters, COVID-19 vaccines are likely to be a nuanced issue for the system to tackle once children become eligible. "It's not unusual to have a dispute between parents about whether or not their children should be vaccinated," Ms Simpson said.
