Kim Potter Trial Live Updates: Duante Wright's girlfriend details moments before shooting

Potter, a 49-year-old white woman, is charged with second-degree manslaughter after she says she accidentally drew and fired her gun instead of her taser, killing Duante Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, during a traffic stop in April 2021.

Jurors saw body camera and police car dashboard video showing Potter threatening to shoot Wright with a Taser as another officer tried to pull him out of his car. Potter is heard saying,"I just shot him...I grabbed the wrong [expletive] gun!" after she fired her gun. The defense cross examined Daunte Wright's girlfriend Alayna Albrecht-Payton about smoking marijuana on the day Wright was fatally shot by police.
