A judge has rapped a man at loggerheads with his wife for installing CCTV cameras inside the family home.Judge Larkin told the man: “The privacy of the family home is sacrosanct.”
Judge Larkin told the man: “There is no way that you can put CCTV into a home. It is in breach of a person’s human rights. You just can’t do that.” The couple were both before the family law court as they had applications for domestic violence Safety Orders against each other.Judge Larkin recommended that the two go before the circuit court for judicial separation proceedings. Judge Larkin stated: “This couple are extremely unhappy with each other.”
“This is about the wear and tear to an extraordinary degree in relation to what we consider the breakdown of the marriage.
