KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court was told that Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was the"boss" of Yayasan Akalbudi who had dominion of the funds entrusted to the charity foundation.
She gave the example of how two trustees, Samsuri Tun and Prof Dr Zulkifli Senteri, in YAB were later replaced by two others chosen by the accused. "But if you take a closer look at their position, you will soon see one of them is his personal aide. Earlier, the court allowed Ahmad Zahid's application for the temporary release of his passport to be released on Oct 26 and returned on Nov 21, for him to undergo surgery in Munich, Germany.
"The application is allowed with the condition of extra surety for the bail and also to clarify the purpose is for the surgery and he is confined to Germany alone," the judge said.
