Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has sworn-in Justice Joe Acha as the new Chief Judge (CJ) of the state.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony at the Government House, Benin City, Obaseki stressed the need for collaboration among the three arms of government to boost good governance.

He also swore in 11 commissioners and two Special Advisers as members of the Edo State Executive Council . Others are Moses Agbukor , Ethan Uzamere , Maria Edeko , Monday Osaigbovo , Andrew Emwanta and Oluwole Iyamu . MEANWHILE, wife of the governor, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, yesterday, commenced free surgery for women with Vesicovagina fistula and Rectovagina fistula as part of her maternal and child health initiative through her VVF Centre at the Stella Obasanjo Hospital, Benin City.
