KUALA LUMPUR: A Bill to amend the Federal Constitution to restore the rights of parties in line with the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) will be tabled in Parliament by the end of October, says Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

"We hope to rectify this by amending some critical provisions in the Federal Constitution," the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department said in a statement in Parliament on Wednesday .

"The ministry has already started its engagement exercise to explain matters to key stakeholders, including MPs, Sabah and Sarawak leaders as well as the attorneys general in the two states," he added.
