A 3-man panel of Justices of the Court of Appeal in Abuja granted permission to Lagos to seek to join in the suit in the interest of justice.
The appellate court rejected the objections of the FIRS to the request by Lagos adding that the objection cannot stand because the appellant, FIRS made some serious allegations against the state in the processes filed in the court. By the ruling, Lagos through its lead counsel, Moyosore Onigbanjo will now file a motion for the state for joinder in the appeal.
