Most people believe human rights are broadly based and it\u0027s illegal to discriminate between categories of employees. Not true

It came to mind while recently watching television news and seeing an ’employment lawyer,’ who I had never even heard of, pontificating in my field. He was asked whether employers could mandate vaccinations and terminate employees for their refusal to comply. His response was that it could not as it would violate human rights, privacy rights and the bodily integrity of the individual in question.Although privacy rights and arguably bodily integrity are impacted, the law is clear.

But in infinite other ways, it is entirely legal to discriminate. You could hire employees based on looks, on the colour of the suit or dress they happen to be wearing at the interview or on almost any other basis, without running afoul of human rights legislation. That may not be fair but it is entirely legal. The only two grounds on which human rights applies to prevent compulsory vaccinations are those of creed and medical disability but those two exceptions are very narrowly construed.

This is such BS. If your vaccinated you're safe right? Who cares if others are not vaccinated you're safe, you had the vaccine. If us non vaccinated people die(not going to happen) that's our choice. You can not force someone to put something in their bodies. Are we slaves?

“Why I’m evil” should be the title of this deranged article.

Piss off with the waffle. It wasn't discriminatory when you elites deemed what was essential or not? Why was one's work essential & another's not? Why was one person's development, way to earn a living not essential? Could have used different language but created class gaps.

💩💩💩

I for one dont want to use the same water fountain as the genetically..Modified.. ' people '

Not true Howard. The HRA has added DNA. The employer cannot ask for tests or demand when or demand to know the results.

Nuremberg.

Where is the risk component here. U set a threshold for safety, without risk? Only 3.6% of tests result in an infection, and of those, 1.7% pass! 26.000 out of 1.5 mil. Dealta is another beast, and so will mu, and all others. There is no normal, but let’s work within risks!!!

Good article. Well written

This is poor advice. Workplace safety must be accomplished through the least intrusive means. Vaccines are not the least intrusive means, and do not guarantee safety.

From a private employer perspective they have EVERY right to discriminate against their employees over vaccination status. Constant precedents have been set in this matter.

pls elaborate on creed human rights accommodation.

Complain human rights violation, use meds for livestocks 🤦
