A radio station in the state had aired in one of its programs that Kano has left its hundreds of lawyers and spent millions to hire mercenary lawyers to cover the Sheikh Abduljabar case.
“Although, as Attorney General of Kano State, I have the constitutional mandate to allow any lawyer to interfere in the case or any other case, so the person behind the story is not even legally sound to understand the workings of the law,” he said. Lawan said the notion behind the allegations was to publicize the Sheikh Abduljabar case and reduce it’s enormity which will be rejected accordingly.
