Court orders interim forfeiture of firm’s N5.3bn - Punch Newspapers

Justice Tijjani Ringim made the order on Wednesday sequel to an ex parte motion filed and argued by counsel for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Rotimi Oyedepo.

Oyedepo then applied for an order of court directing the publication of the interim order in any national newspaper to enable any interested party to appear before the court to show the cause why final order of forfeiture of funds should not be made in favour of the Federal Government of Nigeria. According to the affidavit, Kaiser Strategic Services Ltd was incorporated on November 18, 2010, with a registered address at No. 9, Orioko, Ilorin, Kwara State.
