A teenage girl has been told she faces possible time behind bars for killing two of her friends in a crash in WA's South West, with a court hearing "peer pressure" led to her driving at almost 200 kilometres per hour.
The crash happened in April on Doyle Road at Kalgup, more than 200 kilometres south of Perth, when the girl failed to negotiate a left-hand bend and hit a tree. Her lawyer, Amanda Blackburn, told the court her client was driving at close to 200kph when the vehicle crashed, saying "peer pressure" was an element in the case."Unfortunately, she made the very foolish decision to go ahead with that, on unfamiliar roads at night at very high speed.
