Prince Adeniyi urged the state and local governments to warn the three members of the Jogunade family, Oloyede Babatunde Sikiru, Lawal Oloyede Jogunade and Jogunade Adegbiji Olanipekun against causing any communal crisis in the ancient town.

He claimed that since it was the turn of the Abioye Ruling House to produce the next Alawo, their claim to be members of the Abioye Ruling House is insubordination in the selection process of a new monarch for the community. While stating that he is a bonafide member of the Abioye Ruling House as well as a prince, he revealed that the petitioner, Abubakar Adeniyi is a member of the Ikolaba Chieftaincy Family and are only entitled to Alaagba and Ikolaba chieftaincy titles.

Sikiru also explained that based on the petition by Adeniyi, he had appeared twice before the Awo Divisional Police Officer but the petitioner had failed to appear and defend his petition.
