The Comrade Jonathan Giama-led Delta State Branch of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, CDHR, has petitioned the Nigeria Police Force over the

alleged involvement of two serving personnel in the maiming of a Commercial tricycle operator, Mr. Omesa Broderick in Warri.

The CDHR said it petitioned the Police after it received complaints from the wife of the victim, Mrs. Sandra Broderick on the 12th of August,2021. The CDHR further said that the victim passed out as the Policemen took the key to the tricycle and left him to bleed to death on the ground. The CDHR demanded from the Police that, “an immediate disciplinary action should be meted on the officers involved the alleged acts.
