That lady should be sent for psychiatric assessment as well. People have the right to defend themselves if they do not wish to wear a mask (no matter how ill supported their reasonings are), but don’t make a fool out of the court or insult others while at it.

I am not surprise that his supporters continue to make a commotion in court bordering on perjury because apparently the judge deems it is ok for the woman to ridicule court proceedings without punishment when there were previous cases of convicted charges.

There are many laws which sometimes is unique to a country but they that does not mean a tourist or a foreigner can choose not to comply with it? This mask wearing is not a law unique to only Singapore so it is time that he learnt a lesson the HARD way..
There is a reason why he has been declared fit to enter plea so that he does not turn around and claim insanity. A law is a law. There are many laws which are maybe unique to a country but that does not mean that a tourist or a foreigner can choose not to comply?
He’s right that the wearing of masks is ineffective, but a law is a law and it’s too much hassle over nothing not to wear one. He could make his point by wearing the same dry saliva covered one every day without washing or changing it.

Time to take stand and send a strong message to those who takes Singapore Law for granted. We have came so far in containing the virus and we need to continue to exercise our jurisdiction against such unhelpful behaviors.
He is required to wear a must and he refused, he hasbroken the law during this pandemic. So be dealt with the penalty . Not need to argue. The law have to be consistent. His belief the mask is not effective is irrelevant. Let’s don’t waste anymore resources in this man.
