Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has lamented what it described as the “purchase” of police operatives by land grabbers.
HURIWA was adding its voice to a recent SAVE OUR SOUL appeal sent to the IGP by the people of Ndiaga Amechi Awkunanaw, in Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State. In a press conference in Abuja at the weekend, the National Coordinator Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko and National Media Affairs Director Miss Zainab Yusuf, HURIWA specifically called on the IGP to call to order a Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG, who is being accused of misdirection and misusing SWAT to try to allegedly assist the so called land grabber.
“After the revocation, the siege never seized and the tiny portion where the Amachi people are developing had been the focal point the people has been constantly harassing, jailing, doing all sort of oppression,” the community said in part, according to HURIWA.
is it not foolishness to send SOS to the same person that is been used to execute the plans of land grabbing. The same idiot that said kill them, forget human right, their report will still come to his table, that he knows what to do
