JUST IN: Supreme Court Affirms Akeredolu As Ondo Governor | Sahara Reporters

The Supreme Court has affirmed Rotimi Akeredolu as the duly elected governor of Ondo State.

In a judgment delivered on Wednesday, the court dismissed the appeal filed by Eyitayo Jegede, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Akeredolu as the winner of the October 10, 2020 governorship election, having polled a total of 292,830 votes to defeat Jegede, who secured 195,791 votes.

Buni was not joined as a party to the suit. That was their ONLY mistake. PDP should ask for a refund from their lawyers😁
