The source added, “The Nigerian Government was in court on Thursday through its legal representatives. They demanded that Igboho be remanded pending the time the government would file proper documents for his extradition. The Nigerian government told the court that Igboho is a gunrunner and appealed to the court to remand Igboho until further notice.
“I am suspecting that even if the court orders his release, he will be rearrested because of the Nigerian Government’s accusation that he is a gunrunner.” When contacted, a member of Igboho’s legal team, Pelumi Olajengbesi, declined comments on the case of his client and the details of the court hearing on Thursday. The lawyer, however, toldthat the team was hopeful that the court would grant Igboho bail and won’t extradite the activist illegally to Nigeria.
This case of _IgbohoSunday and MaziNnamdiKanu may sound sweet to the NigeriaGov now but very soon it will be sour, bitter and poisonous. This NigeriaGov is on a journey of self destruction

Failed government. 🤡
And since when has the FG starts dictating how Benin should apply it's law. If the US or Britain were to do this, the same he-goats at the FG will tell them to back off and mind their business.
How sweet it is to spend Tax Payer's money on frivolities 😊😊😊
This regime shows its disdain for those calling for an end to Fulani hegemony, by going to any length to gag the voices of reason and conscience, while they applaud and compensate terrorists in the north. But for how long? Thank God Benin Rep. Isn't the 37th state of Nig.
He has rights. He can't be in custody until lethargic Nigerian government is ready cooking his case. Thank God Benin is not Nigeria.
Igboho should finish his terms there first before the extradition.
Your plans fail. Go and give them oil money now.
They have already failed
